Matt offered to give away a mass of amount of information for a buck (over $5,000 in products and video), I spent the dollar before it was over, and I got stuff mailed to me too for a buck. Nice Guy, sorry the promotion is over. A lot has happened this last week Shawn Casey and Tellman Knudson give access to their videos for a week before closing the website and charging approx. $2000 to see them, if you can get in. I was busy so I missed the last few. However, I learned a lot about list building. Filled in the blanks I have been missing. I think that I have learned enough you can learn from me, if you read my stuff. So journey with me. I set up my squeeze page this week. I have been using yahoo domain hosting and website builder. I am trying to learn how to upload sub-domains this week. Here is my squeeze page site, if I get it uploaded in the next few days, and how I used what the guys taught me and put it into action. www.revenge-by-success.track-my-journey.com One is you need a list but how do you get one. You have to set-up a squeeze page to draw in people’s email's to your list. Now how do you go about that? I have been reading and watching video for the past several years and tried a few things that did not work. That does not mean I am totally doing it wrong I am just missing something. Now I took what I have learned from many sources to develop my website. I use other websites for examples. Now, I hate sales pages and all the reading. I just want them to get to the point. So I made mine shorter, so people might read it. I also want to be able to stand behind what I offer to people. I do not want to offer crap or useless information. Some of this stuff I already knew just was missing a few notes. Matt helped with a lot of important facts. For example, I am going to use www.aweber.com for an auto responder you can use his site for hosting and auto responder services but is more expensive and I can not afford that right now. I also have the auto responder unlimited but can not figure out the html code to get it to work. So if you know html buy it for starters, but you have to do your own spa.m maintenance which could be a pain Matt said. Just make sure you set it up so you have a form and good records of double opt-in and it should not be a problem for small lists. You need your auto responder set up so that when you get email addresses of your unique subscribers you can email them updates. Good customer service is never, let me say that again, never sell your list or let others use it. Put a note at the bottom of your emails to have your subscriber report to you if they get an unusual email from your address. This could be a hacker who is using your IP address and this needs fixed fast. I use Yahoo for all my services so they will fix it for me. Or my Internet service can fix it, for the emails I send from my vtc.net services. I do not think it wrong to use both a private software and a third party auto responder services at the same time. You have different lists with people with different interests. You want to keep them separate so you do not send them information they do not want. Get to know the subscribers so you can give good customer service. I think it is okay to automate your business so that when people order products they can receive them as quick as possible, but you still have to strive for excellent customer service you can provide. No business will make it without customer support, even if it is mildly slow, it is better than none at all. So far we have: • Squeeze page to obtain a list to your updates, articles, newsletter, etc. • A type of auto responder to add subscribers to automated messages and send updates too • How you have to have a domain and hosting account some where, to upload your website too! There are many products and services you can promote as links in your articles so you make commissions for the ones you recommend and people buy through your link. . Now another factor to consider is the auto responder will send them a message to confirm or you will send the confirm email yourself. You need to put a note in the auto responder to remind them to confirm to get the bonuses’ you are offering. After they confirm you will need a page to congratulate them on joining you. Here is where you can up sell or the back-end sale goes for another special discounted offer of one of regular high priced items. This page can come before or be on the same page as the download page for the bonuses you are giving away. You can also add a popup when they click away. This is also called a back-end sale.
